User Guide

This guide helps equip staff to use CRUD Review as a tool — from input entry to getting the review published. It covers gathering input, recording information, generating QR codes, toggling multiple orders, and obtaining multiple reviews for an on-the-spot review experience.

Open Staff Portal

On the home screen, tap Staff. Then tap Scanner or Upload from Gallery. Scan the business QR code provided in the Admin Console.

  • This QR code is unique to the business and starts the feedback flow.
  • It is for staff use only — customers do not scan this QR code.

Start Staff Session

After scanning the business QR code, the staff member starts a session by entering their name and phone number.

  • The staff session remains active for 12 hours.
  • Staff do not need to scan the QR code or re-enter details for every customer during that period.

Customer Feedback Questionnaire

After the staff session begins, the customer feedback questionnaire loads. It is selection-based with no typing required unless the staff wants to capture additional customer feedback.

  • Staff selects options that match the customer's experience.
  • Additional responses can be noted exactly as said, in a first-person tone.

The Conversation

Staff have a natural 30–60 second conversation during or after service. "What did you enjoy? Favorite offering? Coming back?" The questionnaire captures this conversation as structured input.

Generating the Review

Once the questionnaire is complete, tap Generate Review. CRUD crafts a review based on the captured inputs. A customer-facing QR code appears on screen.

Showing the QR to the Customer

Show the generated QR code to the customer. They scan it with their phone camera.

  • The review text is already copied to their clipboard.
  • They paste it into Google Reviews and post — under 30 seconds.

Validation Criteria

  • Business QR code scanned and staff session started
  • Staff name and phone number entered to begin session
  • Customer feedback questionnaire completed for the interaction
  • Review generated and customer-facing QR code shown
  • Customer scanned QR and posted review to Google
